Alassia NewShips Management Inc, a Greek ship management company known for its people-first approach, has chosen FrontM's Loft Multiplex infotainment platform for fleetwide deployment. The agreement demonstrates Alassia's commitment to making practical, high-impact improvements in living standards and crew welfare across its fleet.

FrontM's digital toolbox for ship management is designed to improve safety, welfare and operational efficiency. Loft Multiplex delivers live IPTV to onboard smart TVs via existing satellite links, allowing ship managers to provide curated, multilingual live TV and on-demand entertainment without requiring significant changes to ship infrastructure. The solution is intended to improve the daily lives of modern, multinational seafarers while also strengthening social connections and onboard morale.

"Our people are our most valuable asset," stated Alassia's ICT Manager. "We select technologies that have a significant impact on daily life at sea. Loft Multiplex provides an easy-to-deploy, carefully curated entertainment service that allows crews to relax, stay connected and build camaraderie - exactly the type of practical, people-centred improvement we value."

Through multilingual content and shared viewing opportunities, the rollout promotes crew welfare, social interaction, and cultural inclusion while also supporting compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006.

Enhanced connectivity and managed content additionally provide operational benefits to ship managers, allowing for more efficient bandwidth utilisation and easier content distribution across fleets.

Anne-Marie Barclay, VP, Commercial Operations at FrontM, commented, "We are delighted to serve Alassia, a company that is leading by example and placing seafarer wellbeing at the heart of its operational strategy. FrontM’s digital tools are well-timed for Greek ship managers and the wider market, as improved connectivity now allows onboard applications to deliver real operational and commercial value, while ensuring seafarers remain central to achieving long-term sustainability goals."

FrontM is unifying digital tools, content, and intelligence to ensure ship managers and owners have a simple and effective way to strengthen safety culture, improve shipboard operations and support crew wellbeing across their fleets.
