API Marine ApS, who has a key recognized position as leading supplier in marine automation and tank monitoring systems, has proudly announced an important strategic decision to establish API Marine Türkiye Ltd., marking a significant step in its long-term strategic vision for growth in the region.

“The establishment of API Marine Türkiye Ltd. marks an important strategic step and is a strong commitment to further strengthening our regional presence and the support we provide to our customers and partners in Türkiye.” Allan Lydersen, Managing Director of API Marine ApS.

This move signals a strengthened commitment to Türkiye’s growing maritime industry, where API Marine ApS has already established a strong presence over the last two decades. The company’s systems are widely used across a broad range of vessels - from offshore supply vessels and tankers to ferries, container ships, and even floating docks - within the shipbuilding market in Türkiye, as well as for retrofit and repair projects.

By establishing a permanent local base in Tuzla, API Marine ApS is significantly increasing its on-the-ground capabilities to better support shipyards, vessel owners, and operators in real time. This key development does not only bring its world-class marine solutions closer to clients but also enhances its ability to deliver responsive service and technical support - underscoring the company’s commitment to long-term collaboration, technical excellence, and customer proximity.

Expanding Product Offerings to Meet Evolving Demands

In addition to API Marine ApS’s established portfolio of Tank & Automation Solutions, alarm systems, and valve control solutions, API Marine Türkiye Ltd. will also offer a broadened scope of advanced maritime technologies.

“In line with our existing portfolio of Tank & Automation Solutions, we are now expanding our scope to offer a comprehensive package within Power Generation (including Gensets, Diesel Electric, Hybrid, and Electric Propulsion Solutions).

Furthermore, we are also introducing our range of Digital Solutions, hereunder Cyber Security solutions, which have become mandatory for all new vessels more than 500GT.” – Allan Lydersen, Managing Director of API Marine ApS.

These additions aim to support the maritime industry’s transition toward cleaner, more efficient vessel operations and to meet evolving regulatory demands. The new Digital Solutions portfolio includes cyber security offerings designed to ensure compliance with IMO requirements and protect onboard systems. With these enhancements, API Marine ApS is strengthening its role as a comprehensive technology partner for the future of maritime operations.

Looking Ahead

With API Marine Türkiye Ltd. now officially operating from its Tuzla premises, the company is positioned to scale its impact in the region under the leadership of API Marine ApS’s longstanding partner, Mr. Erkan Eker, Marine Engineer & Naval Architecture MSc., who will take position as General Manager. Together with his local team, Mr. Eker will provide fast and efficient support to customers.

Backed by the global infrastructure of the API Marine Group, the new team is expected to play a key role in advancing digitalization, automation, and sustainability within Türkiye’s maritime industry.
