Maranics, a prominent provider of digitalizing workflow solutions for the maritime industry, today announced that Carnival Cruise Line has extended its contract with the company. The renewed agreement highlights Carnival’s continued confidence in Maranics’ platform and its proven role in driving efficiency, compliance, and real-time collaboration across its global fleet.
Since its initial rollout, Maranics has helped Carnival Cruise Line replace manual, paper-based routines with fully digital workflows, enabling crews and shoreside teams to operate with greater transparency, safety, and speed. The contract extension will deepen this collaboration, opening the door to new innovations that strengthen operational excellence at sea.
“We are proud that Carnival Cruise Line has chosen to extend our partnership,” said Thomas Örnevik, CCO of Maranics. “This renewal is a clear endorsement of the value our platform delivers every day. It demonstrates how digitalization can transform efficiency, elevate safety, and support sustainable operations across one of the world’s most dynamic fleets.”
“Compliance and safety are at the core of everything we do,” said Benton Lobo, Vice President, Compliance at Carnival Cruise Line. “Working with Maranics allows us to strengthen these foundations by digitalizing critical workflows. The platform helps our crews operate with greater consistency, accuracy, and accountability, which ultimately benefits both our guests and our long-term sustainability goals.”
Carnival Cruise Line, part of Carnival Corporation & plc, operates a fleet of 29 ships that operate from the United States, Australia and Europe and serves nearly six million guests annually. By extending its collaboration with Maranics, Carnival reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering world-class guest experiences.
