AST offers two month free unlimited trial of OneWeb

New 'Try Before You Buy' promotion gives maritime customers the opportunity to experience high-speed, low-latency LEO connectivity on their own vessels before committing to the service.
The promotion provides qualifying vessels with two months free unlimited OneWeb connectivity, with an Intellian OW10 antenna supplied on a sale-or-return basis. There are no upfront costs for the antenna and no expectations of a commitment after the free trial.
The proposition is deliberately simple: put the connectivity to work on your vessel, see what it can do, and then decide.
Connectivity demands vary from vessel to vessel and usage changes depending on crew numbers, operational activity, voyage patterns, and onboard applications. That makes the AST Networks promotion particularly valuable - customers get to use the service free of charge with no data limit, and no upfront investment.
"The best way to understand what a connectivity service can do for your vessel is to use it," said Gregory Darling, Founder and Chairman of AST Networks. "We have removed the uncertainty around trying OneWeb by giving customers the chance to experience unlimited connectivity in real-world conditions, without having to make any financial commitments."
At the end of the trial, customers can choose from various options that best suit their vessel requirements; they can return the antenna and discontinue the service, purchase the antenna and move to a suitable OneWeb plan that matches their connectivity needs, or commit to 12 months of unlimited connectivity and keep the antenna free of charge.
For AST Networks, the promotion is a natural extension of its approach to provide customers with flexible and affordable connectivity solutions. With more than 30 years' experience delivering communications and technology solutions, the privately owned business supports customers through its operations in the UK, Australia, Singapore, and the Americas.
"We know that connectivity needs are different from vessel-to-vessel," added Darling. "This promotion gives customers the freedom to test OneWeb properly, understand how it performs, and then choose if the service is right for them, with no expectation for them to commit."
